Thinkware are always shocking people with their latest unveils.
Recently at CES 2019 they showed of a bunch of new products including the M1 sports cam which we’ve been fitting to motorcycles.
These can also be installed to outdoor recreational vehicles like quads etc. as they’re so durable and even have electronic stabilisation.
BUT wait… have you heard of the not yet released products?
Introducing the 4K dashboard camera and the Quad 4 Channel in car camera.
The new 4K camera does exactly as it says in the name and delivers the greatest quality recording ever seen in a dash cam! The resolution is almost 4 times that of a standard Full HD (and still brilliant) 1080P camera.
This amazing quality can be really useful in a camera by capturing number plates moving at a high speed, turning or even capture the person driving. This would ultimately help you in the event of a claim to prove identity of a driver.
It can also pick up much finer details at distance with almost 6 million more pixels than a standard HD dash cam.
Other features? Well it does have all the premium features of the other Thinkware Dash Cam range plus…
Connection to 4G Network, we’re not sure yet how this will work but we’re excited to find out. With the previous Q800 we loved the cloud option but it proved to have a slight issue with having to be close or connected to the dash cam to avail of its features.
We think the connection to 4G will mean you can avail of all cloud options, no matter where you may be located.
4 Channel vehicle security camera. This is a brilliant add on, especially for trucks which have several blind spots and have more problems merging lanes, as there will be cameras front, rear and each side this will have the ultimate safety whilst on the go.
Just like the 4K camera it will have the same premium features as other dash cams from Thinkware. However, this camera also comes with its own separate touch screen LCD display. Allowing you to view first hand, all 4 cameras.
You never know how someone may damage your vehicle. Even whilst parked this will keep a full 360 degree eye on your car, so no need to fret.
Surely it will prove invaluable when resolving any claims or disputes.
There have not yet been any release dates on these cameras but we are certainly looking forward to getting our hands on one.
